Winnipeg, MB (May 31, 2012) – Linda Burndorfer and Lynne Robidoux from Out’n About Travel Inc, a travel agency that has served the Winnipeg area for over 18 years, have just returned from Vacation.com’s 14th International Conference & Trade Show onboard Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis of the Seas®. While attending the industry’s largest event onboard the largest cruise ship in the world, they learned about the latest mobile technology, social media, travel trends and some of the world’s most appealing destinations. Out’n About Travel Inc has been a proud member of Vacation.com since 1994. Vacation.com is the largest travel services marketing organization in North America, serving more than 5,100 independent retail travel agencies across the United States and Canada.

This year, Linda and Lynne were among more than 1,200 industry professionals to attend the history-making event. The conference is a valuable venue for travel professionals to learn more about the industry and to network with high-level representatives of cruise lines, resorts and other travel providers.

Out’n About Travel members learned extensively about sustainable tourism, travel tools, and marketing from some of the industry’s best speakers. The action-packed 7-day cruise featured more than 100 training sessions.

In doing so, agents gained first-hand experience they can pass on to their clients as valuable advice on making the most of their voyage. In addition, Out’n About Travel attendees also spent time exploring the many sites in the popular ports of call of Nassau, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.
